Graduating College During a Pandemic

We graduate about 3-5 times in our lives depending on who we are: maybe pre-school, elementary school, middle school, high school, and maybe college. It's a time to celebrate all the hard work and effort that we put into the past few years and to show that we achieved a milestone in our lives. Yet the pandemic doesn't exactly care about that, and so my college graduation was turned into an online experience.

Graduating College During a Pandemic

Photo Day

Since my university didn't host an in-person ceremony, they offered a quick photo opportunity where professional photographers would take our grad photos in three different spots on campus. My parents came and we took pics together, which was the closest thing to a graduation I could get this year and so it was a nice time.

But of course it was a windy day, and we had to wear masks, and my heels killed my feet (I got blisters that lasted a month and could barely make it back to the car).

Here's my little grad name-read!
