My bestie and ex-roommate visited me in San Francisco over the weekend and it was so much fun! We haven't seen each other since March 2020 so this was a special occasion for us. We are vaccinated and stayed safe wearing a mask except when eating and drinking.
Storytime
First we went to see the Golden Gate Bridge. We drove over to the other side and took some pics (as everyone there was doing). I can't believe how little people were wearing a mask there; we stayed away from them.
Then we went to a little wine bar named Birba; and yes this was my first time having wine. I tried this Lustau East India Solera Sherry and it was great! It's on the sweet side and had 20% alcohol. The staff there were also very knowledgeable about the wine and were super friendly! We sat in those street booths until it was dark.
Since we didn't eat food with the wine, I definitely felt what it was like to be kind of drunk. So then we went to Afterwork Bar and got veggie burgers (yup I'm pretty much full time vegetarian now, and my bestie had one with me). They were the best!
